Information we collect
- Order details: name, delivery address, phone number, email address, the garments purchased and, for clinics and hospitals, the GSTIN.
- Measurements entered in the size finder. These are held in your browser only. If you select "Remember on this device", they are stored in your browser; they are not sent to us unless you place an order or request sizing assistance.
- Enquiries: the information you send us through the website forms, WhatsApp or email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, recorded in server logs maintained for security purposes.
Purpose of collection
Personal data is used to process and deliver orders, issue GST invoices, respond to enquiries and maintain the security of the website. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use personal data for advertising.
Health information
Information that you are purchasing a post‑surgical garment, and any details of a procedure that you share with us, constitute sensitive personal data under Indian law. Such information is used only to recommend and supply a suitable garment. It is not shared with any third party other than the courier, who receives only your name, address and phone number. It is deleted on request.
Payments
Card, UPI and net banking payments are processed by Razorpay. Card details are not received or stored by U2 Designs. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to the payment process.
Disclosure to third parties
- Courier partners, for the delivery and collection of parcels.
- Razorpay, for payment processing.
- Our accountants and the tax authorities, where required for GST invoicing.
Cookies
The website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function: a session cookie for the administration area, and browser storage for your bag and saved measurements. No advertising cookies are used.
Data retention
Order and invoice records are retained for 8 years as required under Indian tax law. Enquiries are retained for 2 years. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by writing to info@u2designs.com. We respond to such requests within 30 days.
Grievance officer
